A member of the Mount Gambier Indian community fears for his family and friends who are facing a deadly COVID-19 outbreak abroad. Blue Lake Indian restaurant owner Amit Sharma has a mother and two siblings living in India. While his family has remained free of the virus, he has a number of friends who’ve been impacted. Mr Sharma travelled to India in December to visit his unwell father and says the situation the country faces has changed dramatically since he returned home in March. 🎧 Catch up on Monday’s local news via the link below
